Sugar Cookies

This is a recipe I got from Mandy after she made me the most amazing cookie flower bouquet after I had Hayden! The cookies are delicious! It is one of her Grandpa Wolsey recipes!

Ingredients:

3/4 cup butter
1 1/4 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla

Method:

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and mix. Add milk and vanilla, then sifted remaining ingredients. Combine, cover and place in refrigerator for at least an hour.

Roll mixture out flat and cut into shapes, bake at 180 for 8 minutes.

Notes:

Mandy and I always add way more flour to the recipe because it's just too sticky and difficult to work with otherwise. If you have the patience to keep refrigerating it and working with it sticky then by all means go ahead. If not - add at least another cup of flour.
