2 cloves of garlic
5cm piece of fresh ginger
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup honey
2 tbsp water
12 chicken drumsticks
Method:
Crush the garlic and finely chop the ginger. Mix together with the remaining ingredients. Coat the drumsticks in the marinade and place into an oven proof dish. Bake uncovered in a moderate oven for 40 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
Notes:
I am not a huge drumstick fan so I often substitute the drumsticks for chicken pieces and instead of baking them in an oven - I put them in a frying pan until they are cooked through.
